About Mind Connections
Who we are
Mind Connections has been established on the foundations of highly qualified mental health specialists in psychiatry, psychology, children’s psychiatry and geriatrics.
Mind Connections opened its doors in Carlingford in 2005, with our Norwest clinic opening in 2012 due to expansion and integrated community-based programmes. Both clinics are led by mental health, geriatrics and rehabilitation specialists who are experts in their fields.
Our team is committed to promoting healthy feelings, healthy thinking, healthy behaviours and healthy interactions. In addition, we believe in service excellence and the best possible standards of care.
Our consultant psychiatrists are Royal Australian, and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists fellows (RANZCP), and our psychologists are Australian Psychological Society members (APS). Furthermore, several of our specialists are fluent in additional languages, such as Cantonese, Hindi and Sinhalese.

Our team is made up of psychiatrists, general and clinical psychologists and medical specialists. When it is considered appropriate, our professional team at Mind Connections Specialist Services organise team-based care. The collaborative nature of our team-based care is designed to ensure that you receive the best possible care when you need it most.
Our services extend to any age and throughout Australia via Telehealth.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on understanding you as an individual by:

- Provide a treatment plan that is conductive your needs
Physical or mental disorders do not discriminate based on age, gender, ethnicity or status. Untreated and undiagnosed diseases can have a high personal cost, which is why seeking help early can save the individual, their family, friends and loved ones from severe effects.
